A question we should ask ourselves is:

What exactly do these checkpoints protect from?

A. If you say from someone doing a terrorist attack:

- But this person who wants to do that will simply blow himself up AT the checkpoint! many people will die (those who are being checked) and people waiting in-line waiting to be checked...Besides, he or she can blow themselves up at the outdoor gates...killing many people who gather in one spot.

- Or is it that we are more worried about the building itself from the inside? if you say yes, I have nothing more to say...

To Maher:
Well, did you notice how they sometimes look for "bomb" in a car? they just open the trunk! As if the one who's carrying one will make it so clear to find one like that.

To Ali:

Who lost more in a terrorist attack Jordan or the US?
Here in the US I go where ever I want and no one stopped me to search me up when I go to a mall, movies, even governmental buildings (of course not all). You can still park your car in the hotel's parking and you can really enjoy your freedom without having to be scanned 1000 times in the month just to enter Safeway or Carrefour to buy groceries . Another note, people shouldn't be discriminated based on the look, who gave the right to the security guard to prevent some guys from entering and allowing others? based on what? This is discrimination. This doesn't give a good impression about Jordan anyway. Peace.

Hey Ali,

Thank for your comment,

Well, here is the thing, its not the "security" issue that is bothering me, who wants to have an uncovered butt! for the matter of security, yes I do think they are doing the best they can to "secure the area".

But at the same time, look at the whole picture of yourself with some foreigner friends of yours and the security guys are treating them nice while your a "homie" are treated in that shitty way, it is really humiliating!

Sometimes these tiny little things that you see can be a stick in the butt when they happen to you.

I just think it's "really" overrated to be physically searched and someone to touch you and search you like you are hiding something.

its not the "Issue" of security, its "How" they do it and treat people.

And no man, it 'aint right to throw those lil guys out, they should let them in, in that matter I'd like to ask the question reversed, why let girls in then!! 'aint they there for these little homies? come on!

did I sound that angry? it wasn't my intention, I aint :))

keep coming back :)

Wow! How angry are you ? You made it sound like it's the biggest problem ever while it's really something tiny and stupid to even think about!

What if some terrorist decide to blow himself inside the mall ? What if some guy is carrying a gun and planing to kill someone inside the mall!, Wouldn't you want him to be discovered by security ?

Do you want thing to be loose and everyone gets in with no questions asked ?, Those young guys thrown outside the mall your talking about are only to make fun of people and chase after girls, So it think they should stay outside :).

What is happening is good but over doing it isn't, It's there duty to search you, Loosen up :)
